I found this to be a very interesting talk by Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe. He has since gone on to create www.mikeroweworks.com a foundation to promote trade and other vocational jobs. Mike Rowe gives a very thought provoking, poignant, and funny talk in this 19 minute video. It’s worth watching all the way through.
Very little to report today. Christmas has come and gone, a new decade is upon us. My car got whacked and is in the shop, speaking of shops I haven’t been able to see the inventory that I want to buy yet, offered him $750 but he says that too low and he thinks he needs to see it as well. Well duh, but I’m not going to offer more for anything I can’t see from outside the window. So we will see what happens. I am sad to lose my first edition Hillary for President bumper sticker when they replace the bumper. Oh well. Anyway, that’s all I have for now.
